Our Story
Kawumbi Finance a product of Kawumbi Holdings was founded by a close group of friends who shared a common story — we all knew someone who needed a helping hand but couldn't access credit when it mattered most.
Whether it was a friend trying to keep their business running, a parent struggling with school fees, or a boda rider who needed just a little boost to own a bike — we saw the same pattern: credit was needed, but access was limited.
That's where the idea for Kawumbi Finance began — not as a business, but as a solution. A simple belief that everyone deserves a fair shot, and access to finance shouldn't be limited to the privileged few.
